We’ll collaborate to plan the session, including location, style, and logistics, and finalize a date! I’ll guide you through wardrobe and tips to prepare for the shoot.
My favorite part! I’ll guide and direct you during the session, making you feel confident and comfortable in front of the camera!
I’ll edit and curate the best images from the session, and provide the finalized, high-resolution images via an online gallery. You’ll have photos that you and yours will cherish for generations to come.

What should we wear?
Think timeless, comfortable, and elevated. Neutral tones, soft textures, and cohesive color palettes photograph beautifully. I always recommend avoiding loud logos, neon colors, or busy patterns. Once you’re booked, I’m happy to help with outfit guidance or mood-based suggestions so you feel confident and like yourselves.
What if it rains?
Oregon weather is part of the magic, and light rain often creates the most romantic, cinematic images. But I know it's not everyone's favorite. I am happy to reschedule, adjust locations, timing, or styling if needed.
Can we pick the location?
Absolutely. You’re welcome to choose a location that feels meaningful to you, or you can lean on me for recommendations. I’m happy to suggest spots based on the vibe you want, accessibility, lighting, and season.
Do you shoot events?
Yes. I photograph weddings, elopements, micro-weddings, brand events, and select gatherings that align with my style. If you’re unsure whether your event is a fit, just reach out.
How far in advance should we book?
For weddings, most couples book 6–12 months in advance. Engagements, portraits, and events typically book 1–3 months out. Summer and fall dates go quickly, especially Saturdays.
How long will it take to receive our photos?
You’ll receive sneak peeks within 24–48 hours, depending on your collection. Full galleries are delivered within 4–6 weeks unless expedited delivery is added.
How do I book you?
Booking is simple. Once you inquire, I’ll confirm availability, send over your proposal and contract, and collect a retainer to officially reserve your date. Dates are not held without a signed contract and payment.
What if we need to cancel or reschedule?
Retainers are non-refundable, as they reserve your date exclusively. If you need to reschedule, I’ll do my best to accommodate based on availability. Full details are outlined clearly in your contract.
Can we bring a pet to our session?
Yes, and I love that energy. Pets are always welcome as long as the location allows it and they’re comfortable in the environment. I recommend bringing a friend to help wrangle when needed.
How do you handle travel fees?
Travel within the Portland metro area is included. For sessions or weddings outside that range, travel fees are quoted transparently based on distance and any lodging required. No surprises.
Where can I see your available dates?
You can inquire through my contact form to check availability. I don’t post a live calendar publicly, as availability changes quickly.
Will you pose us?
Yes, but gently. I guide you into natural movement and flattering positions while leaving space for real moments to unfold. You’ll never be left wondering what to do.
Will you photoshop us?
I provide natural, refined retouching that stays true to how you look. Temporary blemishes are removed, skin tones are balanced, and images are polished without looking over-edited. I don’t alter body shapes or change your features.
